In regards to Papazotl's Riddle the statues with animal heads are as following:

Standing with the double doors in your back looking into a rectangular chamber there are six human-like statues with animals heads recessed into the wall. Three on the left side and three on the other.

^* When light shined upon it revealed a secret door behind it leading to another puzzle piece. Might be referencing Papazotl's Riddle first part:
