Magic in Fate

Cantrips

The equivalent of these 5e cantrips are available to anyone who has the aspect or aspects to justify them:

  • Prestidigitation
  • Thaumaturgy
  • Druidcraft
  • Light (requires components)
  • Dancing lights (requires components)
  • One damaging spell. Feel free to create your own
  • Other magical effects that are well suited to be represented by tags. Like blessings, guidances, insights, boons and banes

Plasmids

Uses Wonder & Wickedness (except that "Maleficence" is a cantrip, see above; and thus "Magical defense" against cantrips is a cantrip and against plasmids it's a plasmid). Whenever W&W asks for "sorcerer level" it's how many stunts you have spent on magic. Starting with at least one stunt spent on magic gives you three random spells known; all other spells need to be learned in play.
