+As a buff to the Beastmaster Ranger, you can use the Beast of the Air or the Beast of the Earth, listed under "Ranger Companion Options" in [[https://dnd.wizards.com/articles/unearthed-arcana/class-feature-variants|this UA]]. This replaces my previous rule so now you no longer take damage when talking about this class.
